The Flatirons Food Film Festival is providing an extensive menu of juicy and delicious food and beverage-related events.

Second course

Thursday, October 16th, 7pm, FFFF Kickoff Party and Benefit: Festival Craft Beer Celebration at the Sterling-Rice Group’s 4th Floor Culinary Center (1800 13th St., #400, Boulder, just off the Pearl Street Mall), $25. The Festival Craft Beer Celebration will feature Opera on Tap Colorado, which will pair arias with an array of beers, including a farmhouse ale brewed for FFFF 2014 by Post’s Bryan Selders and BRU’s Ian Clark. Appetizers and other comestibles by festival supporters Basta, Caffè Sole, Cured, CyclHOPS, Ella, Fresh Thymes Eatery, Kim and Jake’s Cakes, Organilicious, Ozuké, 34 Degrees Crisps, and Volta Mediterranean Restaurant.

$9 general admission. $7 w/UCB student ID, $7 for senior citizens

Parking

Pay lot 360 (now only $1/hour!), across from the buffalo statue and next to the Duane Physics tower, is closest to Muenzinger. Free parking can be found after 5pm at the meters along Colorado Ave east of Folsom stadium and along University Ave west of Macky.
