Although the epidemic has receded from news headlines in recent years, HIV is still rampant in many parts of Africa. Nearly 20 years ago, Marion and Con Cloete decided to leave their comfortable Johannesburg suburb and started an orphanage called Boikarabelo, to address the crisis. Boikarabelo has 250 full-time residents and a school that educates and feeds them and another 280 kids from nearby villages. Without narration, Louise Hogarth's documentary shows how one family works against the ravages of disease and death to provide stability to some of the most traumatized people in the world.
