The 17th Annual Animation Show of Shows

The 17th Annual Animation Show of Shows
Support the IFS by screening titles straight from independent distributors who routinely provide us with interesting movies. By clicking "watch now" below you'll be able to watch a theatrical release and the distributor will then split the proceeds 50/50 with the IFS, which in turn helps buy us time while we wait for the green light to return to Muenzinger Auditorium.

For the first time ever, the ANIMATION SHOW OF SHOWS, featuring the best animated short films by students and professionals around the world, will be available on Vimeo. This special online presentation offers viewers an unprecedented opportunity to see the “best of the best” on their own computer screen.

Four editions of the ANIMATION SHOW OF SHOWS  comprising a total of 56 short films, will be available for viewing on Vimeo. The programs include the Oscar nominees “We Can’t Live Without the Cosmos,” “Weekends,” “One Small Step,” “Pearl,” and “World of Tomorrow, as well as an incredible array of other award-winning films that range from the profound to the hysterically funny.

Created by men and woman of all ages from 20 different countries, the short films in the ANIMATION SHOW OF SHOWS highlight the universality of shared ideals and remind us of the indomitability of the human spirit. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to enjoy what Oscar-winning director Pete Docter described as “some of the best shorts produced by some of the best filmmakers working today, doing things that can only be done in this amazing medium.”
