The 79th Annual Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 25. As they look back on the best of 2006, audiences sometimes overlook the shorts category because they have not had a chance to see them. Magnolia Pictures and Shorts International now give you that chance. The program will include:

Live Action: (68 mins)
The Saviour - 18 min
Helmer and Son - 13 min
One Too Many - 16 min
West Bank Story - 21 min

Animated: (72 mins)
The Danish Poet - 15 min
Maestro - 5 min
The Little Matchgirl - 7 min
No Time for Nuts - 7 min

The Passenger - 7 min
The Wraith of Cobble Hill - 15 min
Guide Dog - 6 min

10 films for $60 with punch card
$9 general admission. $7 w/UCB student ID, $7 for senior citizens

Parking

Pay lot 360 (now only $1/hour!), across from the buffalo statue and next to the Duane Physics tower, is closest to Muenzinger. Free parking can be found after 5pm at the meters along Colorado Ave east of Folsom stadium and along University Ave west of Macky.
