IFS Underground #2
The IFS UNDERGROUND series offers secret, free midnight showings of cult films. Expect
blood, violence, nudity, and all kinds of depravity. If you’re into the weird, this is the series for
you! Hosted and curated by Jason Shoemaker.
Tonight’s film is taking part in the Black History Month celebration and presents a
convention-breaking blaxploitation film. Roger Ebert himself praised this film for its lead actress
(who is a household name) and the film’s decision to stray from the more eye-rolling elements of
the genre, saying, “In these days of instant total hard-core nudity, it’s refreshing to see a mere
low neckline once in a while.”
